VFriday March 31, three hooded men and a woman appeared on the set of the show Don’t touch my post pretending to be police officers from the Motorized Violent Action Repression Squad (Brav-M). Noting that these people were in no way police officers, the police headquarters issued a report to the justice of the Paris prosecutor’s office, which relinquished in favor of that of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine). The latter opened a preliminary investigation on Wednesday, April 5, entrusted to the brigade for the repression of delinquency against the person (BRDP).
The Brav-M, this unit of motorcycle police, is currently under fire from critics, accused of violence against demonstrators against the pension reform.
“Discredit”
Asked by AFP, the Canal+ group declined to comment. Guest of Cyril Hanouna’s program on C8 on Monday, Laurent Nuñez had indicated that he had taken legal action after the sequence, and that an “administrative investigation” was being carried out by the IGPN, the police force. According to the prefect of police, the presence of these four people “discredits” this unit.

As of Friday evening, he assured that “the first elements in possession” of his services suggested “thinking that these people do not belong to the Brav-M”. “When a civil servant who has been dismissed speaks on behalf of Brav-M, for me it is a problem”, added the prefect Nuñez, also denouncing the “non-respect of the duty of reserve” of other civil servants.
According to concordant sources at AFP, none is a member of Brav-M. A man named Cédric, who presented himself as his spokesperson, was dismissed from the national police in December 2022.
