Amazfit presented new watches at the IFA in Berlin: Amazfit GTR 4, GTS 4 and GTS 4 Mini. We were able to take them in hand and on the wrist.
As expected, Amazfit did unveil its new connected watches at IFA 2022: the Amazfit GTR 4, Amazfit GTS 4 and Amazfit GTS 4 Mini. We were able to try each of them during our visit to the show.
Amazfit GTS 4 and GTS 4 Mini: like an air of Watch
Admittedly, it’s hard not to think of the Apple Watch when discovering the Amazfit GTS 4 and GTS 4 Mini. The design codes are there with a square screen, the edges that reach the front and the single button that acts as a crown. This is not a criticism, the Apple Watch is a popular product, and we therefore find ourselves in front of a device with a familiar design.
Especially since the copy is particularly successful. The metal finishes are irreproachable and the attachment of the bracelet is very easy.

The Mini format bears its name very well, the watch is very compact and may be suitable for a thin wrist like mine. It’s much less imposing than an Apple Watch on the arm, but it’s also a more complicated screen to read because of its format.
This model rather caught our eye with a list of interesting features and its more aggressive price of 99.99 euros (compared to 199.99 euros for the classic GTS and GTR models).

Despite its city watch design, Amazfit offers all sports-related functions – including GPS geolocation and the PPG BioTracker 3.0 sensor.

Amazfit GTR 4: another aesthetic
If you are more of a fan of the round screen and the design ” jock “it is towards the GTR 4 that we must turn.
The watch this time offers a design more reminiscent of sports watches, without however going as far as the manufacturer’s T-Rex Pro model. We remain despite everything on a metal design with very thin edges and the search for a certain aesthetic sobriety.

On the sides, the GTR 4 offers two different buttons, instead of just one on the GTS. Both GTR 4 and GTS 4 watches are launched at the same price and have broadly the same features. It is therefore above all a question of taste which should make it possible to decide between them.
We will have to wait for the tests to find out if elements such as autonomy or the GPS track will make it possible to decide otherwise between the two models.

As always with Amazfit, the system goes to the essentials. A list of functions is offered when unlocking. Each measurement has its own ” application “ to start from the watch menu, either with the touch screen or with the crown.
The launch of these watches is scheduled for September worldwide, but France will have to wait until October to discover them. The GTR 4 and GTS 4 will be offered at 199.99 euros while the GTS 4 Mini will be displayed at 99.99 euros.
