Harry plays sitting volleyball, Meghan becomes an “aunt”

On the second day of their trip to Nigeria, Meghan and Harry attended a sitting volleyball game, where he also played sports.
The second day of Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42)’s trip to Nigeria got off to a sporty start for the British royal. The two attended a training session run by “Nigeria Unconquered.” The charity organization works with Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation and supports war-disabled soldiers in order to be able to offer them hope and stability through sport, among other things, after an injury. Athletes from Nigeria took part in the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf for the first time last year.
During the appointment in Abuja, the couple not only received scarves in the colors of Nigeria, they also watched a sitting volleyball match. After about 15 minutes, Harry was invited to take part the US magazine “People” reports. Meghan clapped at every point, but she particularly cheered when her husband Harry scored for the first time.
People’s Simon Perry shared several videos of the visit on Instagram. In one clip the beaming Meghan surrounded by a group of women, applauded in another she watched the sitting volleyball players and her husband.
Young Tiwa meets “Aunt Meghan”
Interpersonal relationships were also not neglected during Meghan and Harry’s visit. This is how the Duchess met nine-year-old Tiwa, who told the magazine about the encounter: “She said that Prince Harry likes to play volleyball and that he is very good at it. And she asked me if I play volleyball at my school. And I said yes.” Meanwhile, Tiwa’s mother emphasized how important this meeting was for the girl: “She always wanted to get to know her.” The evening before, Tiwa asked her mother when she would meet “Aunt Meghan”.
For Harry and Meghan, the three-day stay in Nigeria is the first major tour since the two stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to the USA in 2020. They live in California with their two children Archie (5) and Lilibet (2).
