Fanny Agostini: why her career owes so much to Julien Courbet

Years ago, her encounter with Julien Courbet changed Fanny Agostini’s career. At the time, she was working at the RTL standard.

Fanny Agostini’s career would surely not have been the same without Julien Courbet. Although she changed her life a few years ago, she spent many years on the airwaves and on television. And it’s a bit thanks to the host of CapitateI. After finding a job at France Bleu in her youth, Fanny Agostini was hired at the RTL switchboard when she was 20 years old. It was there that she met the man who changed her life. “I meet Julien, it’s a pivotal moment, I want to pay tribute to him. He pushed me to drop models everywhere and RMC recruited me”, she remembers, grateful, in the columns of Liberation which devotes her portrait to her. First at the helm of traffic information, Fanny Agostini then stood out at the station’s weather forecast.

And she will never forget the beginning of her career, nor her decisive meeting with Julien Courbet. “It was exciting to see these great professionals working. I was trying to imitate them. Julien Courbet guided me in my choices. There was an opportunity at RMC and he said to me: ‘Go for it! Send a model, It will be ok'”she said a few years ago in the columns of Corse-Morning. Thanks to him, his career took off. From 2011 to 2017, Fanny Agostini was known as BFMTV’s miss weather forecast before joining France 3 where she hosted the program Thalassa, succeeding Georges Pernoud. Then she changed her life to settle in Auvergne, where she created an NGO.

Fanny Agostini: where can we see her?

“I made the decision to stop and go to new adventuresannounced the host in a video posted on Facebook. If I made this decision, which was not necessarily very easy, it was to go beyond palavers and carry out concrete projects for the preservation of nature through the creation of my NGO, Landestini, and also to go towards other television projects.” Still at the head of Landestini, Fanny Agostini has since returned to her first love on television. It can now be found in Génération Ushuaïa on TF1 and on Ushuaïa TV.
