Because of a corona case on set in England, the shooting of "Fantastic Beasts 3" has to be interrupted.

The shooting of "Fantastic Beasts 3", the upcoming part of the fantasy series, has to be interrupted. The "Evening Express" and "metro.co.uk" report, citing a statement from Warner Bros. Pictures. Accordingly, "a team member from 'Fantastic Beasts 3' tested positive for Covid-19".

All employees on the set in Leavesden, England, are constantly subjected to appropriate tests. The person concerned, who is not specifically named, is in isolation. Production is now being stopped for the time being for safety reasons and should start up again later in compliance with the existing guidelines.

Is an actor affected?

Meanwhile, an anonymous insider speculates in the "Daily Mail" that it must allegedly be one of the actors. Because it must therefore be a person "who cannot be replaced". Production is only paused if someone cannot be filmed.

Stars like Jude Law (48), Eddie Redmayne (39) and Mads Mikkelsen (55) will appear in "Fantastic Beasts 3". The latter replaces the previously retired Johnny Depp (57), as it became known last November. Mikkelsen will take on the role of Gellert Grindelwald von Depp. The premiere of the film is scheduled for July 2022. It is currently not known whether this date can be kept or whether fans may have to wait longer.
