Warner Bros. unveiled 18 character posters for the feature film Fantastic Beasts 3: Dumbledore’s Secrets. The film hits theaters on April 13.
18 character posters from the third Fantastic Beasts film have just been unveiled and among them is that of the new Grindelwald. Played by Johnny Depp in the previous opuses, the character is now played by Mads Mikkelsen.
As a reminder, the studio asked Johnny Depp to leave following a lost lawsuit against the tabloid The Sunwho called him a “woman hitter” after his divorce from comedian Amber Heard.
In Dumbledore’s Secrets, Grindelwald’s power grows rapidly. Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) tells Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his friends on a mission that will lead them to a clash with Grindelwald’s army, and will have Dumbledore wondering how long he will be on the sidelines in the coming war.
Set in the 1930s, the film will explore magical communities in Bhutan, Germany, and China, among others. Check out these wizards in the posters shown above.
A new trailer will be unveiled on Thursday, February 24. Fantastic Beasts 3: Dumbledore’s Secrets hits theaters April 13.
