Farewell to the “Stier” – The world tour follows the gang magic

The appearance at “Stier” is a farewell for Seekirchen’s Jonas Vorderegger. Regionallist Golling has found a new coach. Favorites are next.

The favorites showed no weaknesses on the second day of the “Salzburger Stiers”. Seekirchen swept over his opponents in Group D, winning all three preliminary round games. Jonas Vorderegger particularly stood out among the Wallerseern. The offensive spirit scored five times, was the be-all and end-all in the Flachgauer game. Coach Mario Lapkalo, who is only a fan and not a coach at the indoor event, saw it like this: “Jonas was very noticeable.” It is not surprising that the 21-year-old is really working hard. In the spring he will no longer be available to the Seekirchners. The magic of the gang is a kind of farewell for him, because he then undertakes a trip around the world. “Hopefully we can give him a nice finish. Reaching the final is our minimum goal,” explains Lapkalo. In addition to Seekirchen, two other regional league teams also had reason to celebrate. Bischofshofen made it through to the intermediate round with nine points, as did Golling (seven points). After the surprising departure of Christoph Lessacher, the Tennengauer have now found what they are looking for as a trainer. Johannes Schützinger, who was still working for Salzburg Bundesliga side Bramberg in the autumn, will take over the helm with immediate effect. Title favorite enters the last “Taurus” preliminary round matchday is on the schedule today. With Grünau, a big favorite for the title is entering. The Walsers can also rely on director Stefan Federer, whose assignment was questionable until the end due to an inflammation of the pubic bone. These teams advanced to the intermediate round on Wednesday: Seekirchen, HSV Wals, Bischofshofen, Altenmarkt, Golling and Eugendorf.
