In the new season "Farid – Magic unplugged", the magician Farid inspires athletes for his world of magic – including Nico Rosberg.

Anyone who has always wanted to see how sporting world champions and those who want to become react when they no longer understand the world could currently find what they are looking for on Sky: There, magician Farid (40) enchants some well-known athletes with his tricks every Monday.

In the double episode on March 15, he brings, among other things, Formula 1 world champion and newcomer to the Sky expert team Nico Rosberg (35) himself to magic. The ex-racing driver is supposed to divide pictures of unknown people into two different piles without clear instructions. The task is done in a few seconds and Farid reveals the answer: Rosberg, who has over 1.5 million followers on Instagram, has subconsciously divided people into followers and non-followers on his account. Rosberg astonished: "How does that work? So what's going on?"

Rosberg thinks it's "completely crazy"

But it gets even crazier. The next step is to use guided meditation to visualize an unknown person and to associate them with a place, a piece of clothing and an object. Then the magician finds exactly this fantasy fan among Rosberg's followers right away – including the object, item of clothing and location. Rosberg can hardly believe it: "It's completely crazy that you find a person I think of among my fans. I think it's world class."

In the next episodes of "Farid – Magic unplugged: Sports Edition" Farid will demonstrate his magic to soccer world champion Julian Draxler (27), Benedikt Höwedes (33) and NBA star Dennis Schröder (27). The sports edition of the magic show can always be seen on Mondays at 8:15 p.m. with double episodes on Sky One, Sky Ticket and also on demand.
