Giants Software today announces a brand new version for its farming simulation with Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Edition. A new edition that embeds additional content to give good conditions to latecomers who have not yet tried the joys of the farm.
Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Edition: additions to the standard edition
After the announcement of a season pass before the release and today that of Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Edition, the strategy of the studio which now self-publishes its famous franchise (after a long road traveled with Focus Home) operates here a new strategy inspired by industry standards. Giants Software can in any case afford it since the latest opus to date has visibly convinced the crowds with 3 million copies sold last January.
This new edition is therefore an opportunity for the last hesitant to start a career on the farm with additional content. Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Edition includes:
- The basic game Farming Simulator 22 and its Platinum extension
- Volvo Group and many other brands
- More than 40 new vehicles and tools, for a total of more than 500 machines
- A new map, as well as new gameplay mechanics and production chains
Recently, the studio announced a collaboration with the Volvo Group. We will therefore find the Volvo L200H High Lift loader alongside other new machines such as the John Deere 843L-II and John Deere FF55 feller-bunchers. The other big novelty that will delight virtual farmers is the addition of the new map Silverrun Forest. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest and its wooded landscapes, we understand that this new playground will be mainly intended for forestry missions. A card that sends wood in short. Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Edition will be available PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series next November 15. The standard edition of the game is still available.
