Bras are one thing. It’s difficult without it, because in many cases we don’t want to do without the necessary support they give. The straps in particular make it difficult for us, they often mess up a well-planned look. These four genius hacks are now making our lives easier!

It pinches, then the wearer peeks out, the color isn’t right here – our brassieres have a life of their own and regularly drive us crazy. Life with the little textile helpers can be very simple. As is so often the case, it’s the small, quick fixes that are most effective. With our styling hacks, halter tops, sweetheart necklines or one-shoulder dresses can find their way back into your closet, because your bra won’t be visible when you’re wearing it.

4 bra hacks you probably didn’t know

Do you love wearing bandeau tops or do you want to finally put on that beautiful sparkly one shoulder dress that you bought on your last vacation? Often only our bra keeps us from bringing more creativity into our own style. How often do you say or hear the sentence: “I can’t wear that with my bust size.” This may well be the case with some styles, but with others we know how to remedy the situation.

1. One shoulder trick

Dresses with an asymmetric cut were all the rage back in the 2000s and haven’t really gone away since. Tight-fitting silhouettes are particularly popular. But what to do with the bra? If you are not yet ready for the no-bra look, you can use a simple trick.

That’s how it works: The bra is put on normally at first. Then you take the strap that you want to be invisible, lengthen it and slide it over your head to the other side. It is finally positioned at the bottom of the cup and provides even more support.

2. Strapless? No problem with this bra trick

Especially in summer we love a seamless tan. Of course, white strap marks are a nuisance that can be avoided with bandeau tops. However, the chest does not support itself, which is why strapless bustiers or bras are used. Especially with a large bust, this support is not always sufficient. Here we show you how to add more support to your strapless look with a bra with detachable straps.

That’s how it’s done: The detachable straps are attached to the back on the right side of the bra and placed once around the front of the breasts and hooked in on the left at the back. Then you start on the left and attach the carrier on the right side. In the end, you position the elastic straps where you need the most support.

3. Sweetheart neckline

The sweetheart neckline is currently one of the most popular necklines. And there is a reason for that: the heart-shaped neckline is a real figure-flatterer. With the exposed collarbone, the shoulders appear dainty and feminine. However, the side edges are usually cut out so far that the bra strap is revealed. However, a simple carrier trick prevents this.

That’s how it’s done: Put the bra on as usual, then twist the straps in and put them back on again.

4. Halter hack

While the halter trick is a little more involved than the sweetheart neckline hack, it’s just as effective.

That’s how it’s done: Take a small thread (about one centimeter wide) and tie it around the two straps on the back. Within seconds, a normal bra becomes a neckcolder bra. Try it yourself!
