Now that the weather is getting a little cooler and we are slowly approaching winter, we are faced with a demanding challenge when it comes to fashion. Intern Helene reveals her three essentials.

The time of colorful leaves and pumpkins has begun. Our wardrobe is also looking forward to the fresh autumn breeze: away with the light summer dresses and on with scarves and cardigans. The transition period in particular is a fashion challenge for all of us. So that you have the perfect cozy look for a coffee date or at home in autumn, intern Helene explains her three must-haves for autumn.

The fashion must-haves in autumn

1. It’s sweater weather

Knitwear and wool get us through autumn fashionably. Although I personally prefer neutral earth tones like beige and cream, you can also opt for a colorful version of these cozy pieces. Since they can be easily combined with pants and skirts, they are a must in my fall wardrobe. Romina Meier also shows us Instagram her street style looks. She naturally combines the knitted sweater with various bottoms to celebrate the beginning of the cold season.

2. Maxi skirts

As the era of short garments comes to an end, maxi skirts are taking over the spotlight. This fall in particular, the collections offer us a wide range of fabrics and looks for long skirts. One of my favorites is the leather skirt, which can be combined both elegantly and in a casual street style. Claire Rose is also a fan of the leather look. We see her on the streets of Paris in a black combination.

3. Oversized blazer vs. coat

The question often arises as to whether a coat or a blazer goes better with an outfit. In my opinion, both are fall wardrobe essentials. Whether in the office or on the street – a blazer is always a good choice. However, it can quickly become impractical in changeable weather. A coat, on the other hand, focuses on warmth and gives the look a certain fashion direction. The combination of both enables the perfect mix of functionality and elegance. Felicia Wedin has coordinated her fall wardrobe with this and shows off her favorite pieces on Instagram. The gray coat with a striped pattern is one of them.
