The 2000s are back – fashionable at least. One trend after another is currently experiencing a revival, including camouflage.

The fashion of the noughties is currently experiencing a comeback: low-rise jeans, wide-leg jeans and … camouflage! If it is used for camouflage in the military, it was everywhere in fashion of the 2000s: jackets, trousers, dresses, shoes and even accessories such as handbags were available in camouflage patterns. Now the multicolored print is fighting its way back into the fashion world.

This is how you style camouflage

Instead of military trousers or all-over camouflage looks, the pattern is now combined in a more subtle and feminine way. The motto is: less is more. It’s best to limit yourself to a maximum of one or two pieces per outfit so as not to look like you’ve just deserted from military service.

Camouflage doesn’t necessarily have to be green or brown, the pattern is also convincing in shades of blue or gray. It is best to combine camouflage pieces with feminine details, such as elegant boots or high heels, dresses, skirts or a chic bag.

Camouflage also works very well with leather parts such as a skirt, pants or blouse. Influencer Caro Daur (26) combines her Miu-Miu camouflage coat for example with a white micro shoulder bag and black ankle boots. The influencer sisters Sylvia (32) and Julia Haghjoo (28) have their casual autumn outfits rounded off with camouflage scarves.
