Fashion Week “Haute Couture” began this Monday, January 23 in Paris. The opportunity for many stars to make the trip and discover in preview the trends of tomorrow
Currently, the fashion planet is in full effervescence. From Monday until Thursday January 26, Paris vibrates to the rhythm of the shows of Fashion Week “Haute Couture”, Spring/Summer 2023. For two days, the shows have followed one another. The designers were finally able to unveil their collection in broad daylight. Monday is Schiaparelli who opened the ball by presenting a collection blurring the boundaries between the real and the unreal. On the catwalk there have been slender, lush silhouettes sporting the heads of wild animals, bustiers with outrageously voluminous jewels and accessories constantly flirting with sculpture.
The creator’s choices are divided, with some accusing him of glorifying hunting. The afternoon Dior gathered more. Maria Grazia Chiuri, she offered a reinterpretation of the 50’s wardrobe with black and powder pink accents. Tuesday is home Chanel and its majestic podium which dazzled. Virginie Viard was inspired by the apartment of Gabriel Chanel itself to deliver a dreamlike decor where embroideries, satin, sequins and cute little animals of all kinds are mixed.
Which stars occupied the front row at Fashion Week?
Parades are usually behind closed doors and by invitation. Many of the hand-picked stars took the top spot; competing in imagination to pay homage to the creative universe of their host. The Americans particularly stood out on the first day. We still have in mind Kylie Jenner and her black Schiaparelli dress adorned with a life-size lion’s head or Doja Cat who caused a sensation thanks to her all-over red dress encrusted with 30,000 Swarovski crystals added one by one by hand. And if Kim’s sister and Schiaparelli’s muse have been talked about by wearing questionable outfits, others have fortunately stood out for the chic of their outfits, skilfully chosen for the occasion. Marion CotillardVanessa Paradis, Charlotte Casiraghi, Inès de la Fressange, Carole Bouquet and Elsa Zylberstein rushed to attend the Chanel show. Mélanie Laurent, Lucas Bravo and Juliette Binoche, meanwhile, chose the front row of Armani and shone in elegant suits specific to the fashion house. At the parade ofAlexandre Vautier, the audience in the front row was resolutely Frenchy. Tina Kunakey, discreet in a “normcore chic” style, was accompanied by Cécile Cassel, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and the two Léas: Drucker and Salamé.
