Nothing stops Vin Diesel, not even the screenwriters’ strike! At the end of last April, the interpreter of Dominic Toretto announced that Fast & Furious 11 would be released in our theaters in 2025.
A few days later, Peter Cramer, President of Universal Pictures, explained to the magazine Los Angeles Times that the writers’ strike could delay the release of the final installment of the franchise.
“The writers’ strike is a topic on everyone’s mind. It all depends on how long it lasts, but obviously it will interrupt the writing process for the next ‘Fast’ movie. If it lasts too long, it will be difficult to imagine that we can make this film in the timeframe we want.”

Yet the actor and producer of the $7 billion franchise has just given the exact release date of Fast & Furious 11. The feature film, which will pick up where Fast X left off, will therefore be released in American theaters on April 4, 2025 and therefore most likely on Wednesday April 2, 2025 in France.
Vin Diesel accompanied his announcement with a set photo in which he appears to be an accomplice alongside Jason Momoa, the main antagonist of Fast X, and a message that refers to recent rumors of a disagreement with the interpreter of Aquaman .
“April 4, 2025…it’s less than 22 months away. I love the expressiveness and collaboration of everyone in our franchise as we approach the conclusion of this international saga. Jason [Momoa] wanted to try something unique and special and he ended up creating a character that stands out and will never be forgotten.

Fast & Furious X: Vin Diesel would blame Jason Momoa for the film’s poor reviews
As a reminder, the site RadarOnline recently reported that Vin Diesel was unhappy with Jason Momoa’s performance in the film, seen by many as one of the film’s only bright spots.
A source on the site reportedly said: “Vin is embarrassed that Jason is seen as the film’s only bright spot and steals the show in the franchise he built himself.”
But the producer has apparently put water in his wine so that everything goes well for the conclusion of the saga started in 2001.
The French director Louis Leterrier will take over the controls of Fast & Furious 11 in which Vin Diesel will find Jason Momoa, Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster and Jason Statham.
