Vin Diesel has announced the official title of the tenth “Fast & Furious” part and revealed new details about the development of the film.

Vin Diesel (54) has at Instagram the start of shooting for the tenth part of the “Fast & Furious” series and at the same time announced the official film title. “Day one,” he captioned a picture that reads “Fast X.” In a second post A little later, Diesel told fans an interesting detail about the making of the film: “When the F10 script was on the table, Mia Toretto was not in it.” The sister of his role Dom was already embodied in the beginning of the series by Jordana Brewster (41). He was very sad about the fact and his daughter finally made it clear to the director: “No Mia, no Fast 10!”

Fittingly, Diesel recalls that on the day his daughter was born, he was in front of the camera for the franchise with Brewster and Paul Walker (1973-2013) and he was the first to tell his colleague about it. In his post he published a photo in which the three are in each other’s arms. Referring to his colleague and friend Paul Walker, who died in a car accident in 2013, he explains: “Every fast film I do has to always honor my brother at its core. In the real world, I’ll always look out for his family , because in the real world he’s family. Without the deep love and brotherhood between Dom and Brian that was established in 2001, Fast wouldn’t be where it is.”

“Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson (32) and Jason Momoa (42) are new to the tenth “Fast & Furious” part. The “Aquaman” star is said to be playing a villain. In addition to Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez (43), Tyrese Gibson (43), Sung Kang (50), Nathalie Emmanuel (33) and Ludacris (44) will also return, among others. “Fast & Furious 10” represents the first part of the two-part finale of the saga. The cinema release is currently expected for May 2023.
