Don’t miss the three little nods to the Avengers in the feature film “Fast & Furious 6”, broadcast this Monday evening on TMC. Winks that are all related to the character of Luke Hobbs!

There is, a priori, no relationship between the Fast & Furious saga and that of the Avengers. However, the feature film Fast & Furious 6, broadcast this Monday evening on TMC, refers to three members of the superheroic troupe Marvel!

In Fast & Furious 6, it is the character of Luke Hobbs, played on screen by Dwayne Johnson, who is compared to three members of the Avengers. At the start of the feature film, Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), learning that he is going to work for Hobbs, first exclaims: “So now we’re working for the Hulk, right?”

A little later, when Hobbs visits a surveillance team, one of the latter’s managers compares him to Captain America. Finally, when Tej Parker (Ludacris) receives a phone call from Hobbs, the name of Samoan Thor appears on the screen, an obvious nod to The Rock’s Samoan origins.

Why does Fast & Furious 6 give these little nods to the Avengers? Because Dwayne Johnson has often shown interest in starring in a Marvel movie? Or because actress Elsa Pataky, Elena Neves in the action saga, is the companion of Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the Marvel universe? The mystery remains…
