A tragic accident happened on Thursday afternoon in the Walbersdorf district (Mattersburg district). A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car driver.
The 63-year-old was on his motorcycle on the B50 in the Walbersdorf municipality in the direction of Mattersburg. A car driver (46) wanted to turn left at an intersection at the same time, there was a collision with the motorcyclist. Man died As a result, the 63-year-old was thrown onto the hood of the car. Despite resuscitation attempts by the emergency doctor, the man died at the scene of the accident. In addition to the fire brigades from Walbersdorf and Mattersburg, the police, the Red Cross and Christophorus 3 were deployed. Out of consideration for the bereaved, no photos of the operation were published.
