The largest taxi company in Paris no longer wants to use Tesla Model 3 after a fatal accident and 20 other people were injured. Tesla denies allegations.

Last weekend there was a serious accident with a Tesla Model 3 in Paris. As the US portal Electrec reports, an employee of the taxi company G7 lost control while driving an electric car, rammed a cyclist and drove through a crowd. The odyssey ended when he hit a delivery truck. 20 people were injured, some of them life-threatening. A person died.
The driver of the Tesla Model 3 was uninjured and stated that his car was accelerating in an uncontrolled manner and that he was unable to intervene. The car manufacturer has faced several incidents of this type in the past. The manufacturer was able to prove that it was operated incorrectly. Fearing further accidents, the taxi company has suspended 37 drivers with Tesla Model 3s.
The Paris-based company G7 is one of the world’s largest taxi companies. The decision should have a corresponding radiance. Around 50 drivers with Tesla Model S, however, are allowed to continue working for the company.
Tesla gave a statement to the French daily Le Figaro and excluded a technical error via remote diagnosis. The AFP news agency also reports that the Californian manufacturer is ready to work with the authorities and help with the investigation.
