Fate/stay night REMASTERED: back to basics for the Holy Grail War, but with censorship

This Tuesday, TYPE-MOON organized a livestream for the 20th anniversary of the license Fatehaving taken its source in the universe of TsukihimeA visual novel which will also be entitled this summer to a remake called Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon. It is therefore with joy, but also certain reservations, that the fans welcomed the announcement of Fate/stay night REMASTERED. Yes, the game that started it all will also make a return in 2024!

This visual novel originally released on PC in 2004, before returning in 2007 on PS2 in a censored version including the voices of the subtitled anime Realta Nuawill be released this year around the world on Switch and Steam, with texts in English, Japanese and simplified Chinese. This remaster will be based on the PSVita version of Fate/stay night [Realta Nua], which is enough to annoy some fans. Additionally, no version PlayStation on the horizon even as the editor Aniplex is a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan. The choice is therefore quite surprising.

The license has become quite tortuous since, with last year the release of an animated adaptation of Fate/strange Fake baptized Whispers of Dawn by A-1 Pictures with Hiroyuki Sawano on the soundtrack and game Fate/Samurai Remnant. You can find the latter on Amazon from €54.99 and at the house of Gamesplanet on PC from €62.99.
