Why is Fate: The Winx Saga suddenly ending with Season 2?
The cancellation of one of the most popular fantasy formats on Netflix also comes as a surprise to series creator and showrunner Brian Young. Via his Instagram profile, he officially announced the sad news that “Fate – The Winx Saga” will not return for another season.
Thus the story about the fairies Bloom, Aisha, Terra, Stella and Musa ends with an open cliffhanger. Not only this open ending, but also Young’s own statement in September that he wants to leave extra room for a potential sequel with the season finale initially gave the series fans hope.
