Olivia Rodrigo wins seven Billboard Music Awards

(dpa) Singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo is the big winner of this year’s Billboard Music Awards. The 19-year-old American singer won seven awards on Monday night, including “Top New Artist” and “Top Female Artist”. The young musician was nominated in 13 categories. Rapper Kanye West won six awards, his Canadian colleague Drake five in total. Among other things, Drake was named “Top Artist” and “Top Male Artist”. Australian rapper The Kid Laroi and Canadian singer Justin Bieber received five awards for their song “Stay”.
