A new spin-off from the FBI franchise
Notice to fans of detective series and lovers of the creations of Dick Wolf, to whom we owe the Law & Order and Chicago franchises, a new procedural FBI derivative is available on Paramount+. Entitled FBI: International, this series follows the investigations of members of the FBI’s Fly Team, elite agents based in Budapest.
They are tasked with locating and neutralizing threats to US interests and protecting US citizens around the world. The team, led by Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank), is made up of second-in-command Jamie Kellett (Heida Reed), interrogation expert Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), accounting specialist agent Andre Raines ( Carter Redwood) and liaison officer from Interpol Katrin Jaeger (Christiane Paul).

By following a team working on international affairs, this spin-off allows viewers to follow larger-scale storylines spanning multiple locations and cultures. The team actually shot in Budapest for the footage in their base office, which brings a certain authenticity.
For the rest, FBI: International is part of the police series of the same genre with incredible cases, and often incoherent, a classic staging but a sustained and breathless pace in the action sequences.
Fans of the FBI franchise will be delighted to see crossovers with the other series, FBI Most Wanted Criminals and FBI. Thus, the characters of Jeremy Sisto, Alana de la Garza, Julian McMahon and Missy Peregrym are invited in episodes of FBI International.
The series, created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk, has been airing since 2021 on the CBS network in the United States and it already has two seasons. It was still unpublished in France and is now available on Paramount+ in France.
