The new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions have arrived. The catalog of both formulas is enriched with great new features taken from important licenses.
The year is off to a great start for PlayStation Plus members. If the trios of games offered are at least satisfactory or even more depending on tastes and colors, those who have opted for the higher packages clearly get their money’s worth. The catalog grows every month and Sony has released the big game for February 2024. The new additions of PS Plus Extra and Premium are now available.
PS Plus Extra games available
New month, new additions. The PlayStation Plus Extra is making its way and after a slight drop in performance, it is finally regaining its colors. Since its arrival in June 2022, the formula has allowed its members to test exclusive productions such as the latest Ratchet & Clank and Horizon, or the first two parts Marvel’s Spider-Man, as well as major publisher games. That and sometimes even availability as soon as they are released like Stray for example. Lately, the Japanese publisher has been relying more on its partners, including Capcom and 2K who stole the show with two installments of their most lucrative franchises last month. And for this PS Plus Extra from February 2024, it’s an anthology of big licenses.
It’s impossible not to mention the return of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the catalog, nor the arrival of the excellent JRPG Tales of Arise which risks absorbing you for dozens and dozens of hours. Car enthusiasts will turn to Need for Speed Unbound, which has just announced new post-launch content for its second year based on previous episodes of the license. On the Western RPG side, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be served with The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition from Obsidian, which includes all of the expansions published to date. In addition to these 9 games, PS Plus Premium members are entitled to some bonuses. The retro additions this time are placed under the sign of the Tales of license with two old episodes.
