Femicide in Paris: the police release two new photos of the policeman on the run

In the first photo, Arnaud B. appears with a clean-shaven head and beard, wearing a burgundy t-shirt with sunglasses hanging from the collar. On the second, the policeman has short hair and his face hidden by an anti-Covid mask.

In the first call for witnesses released on February 10, the suspect had a black beard, shaved hair and was wearing a black T-shirt. This new call for witnesses was decided by the investigating judge Camille Laurens, in charge of the file and who entrusted the investigations to the 2nd district of the Parisian judicial police.

Suspect still at large

The 29-year-old peacekeeper has been wanted since January 28, the day of the discovery in his apartment in the 19th arrondissement of Paris of the body of his companion, aged 28 and who died by strangulation, according to the autopsy. The body had been discovered in the bathroom by Parisian police officers who came to the suspect’s home, assigned to Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis).

“Shortly after the facts”, a withdrawal of 1,500 euros was made with his bank card in Breteuil (Oise), a town located about a hundred kilometers from Paris, according to a judicial source. His car, his service weapon and his two chargers were found on February 11 and 12 in Amiens in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant.
