The policeman suspected of feminicide in Paris was arrested after three weeks on the run, Gérald Darmanin announced on Twitter on Tuesday. The 29-year-old peacekeeper was arrested by the gendarmes in the South of France.
The policeman suspected of having killed his partner at the end of January in Paris was arrested “without incident this morning” on Tuesday after three weeks on the run, announced the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin. “The man, a policeman, suspected of having killed his partner, was arrested without incident this morning. He is now at the disposal of justice” wrote Gérald Darmanin on Twitter. According to sources familiar with the matter, this 29-year-old peacekeeper was arrested in the South of France by the gendarmes.

The man contacted the police
According to information obtained by Europe 1, the man himself contacted the gendarmes of the town of Montmeyan this morning, located between Aix en Provence and Draguignan. He told the gendarmes that he was at his father’s house. He was then arrested and taken into custody.
