The optional FIFA 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) mode offers you many special cards that you can get from card packs or on the transfer market. As a rule, these special cards offer better values than the normal gold cards and are therefore particularly popular.
They are only available in packs for a limited time. It is therefore worth keeping an overview of current and upcoming FIFA 22 events. So please come back again and again.

There are special cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team every week.
FUT winter wildcards
You are currently witnessing the “Winter Wildcards” event in Ultimate Team. The respective players offer increased values and the official website of EA indicates that the winter wildcards will get strong boosts or value shifts in the future – similar to “Shapeshifters”.
Team of the week
The “Team of the Week” (TOTW) event takes place every seven days. Every Wednesday afternoon EA should present the top selection of the best players from different leagues. These special cards are so-called “In-Form” cards with improved values. You can also recognize them by the black background color.
For a week after the team is released, you have the opportunity to pull TOTW players out of card packs. The cards are also usually traded at high prices on the transfer market.
Player of the Month (POTM)
EA also regularly maintains the election for Player of the Month (POTM). It is carried out for various leagues such as the Bundesliga and the Premier League. You can vote for the player of the month via the following link, provided the voting is still ongoing.
