The Ligue 1 Player of the Month (POTM) award is back in FIFA 22, meaning fans can choose which player has earned a boosted FUT card. Here’s everything you need to know to vote and claim the cards when they become available in-game.

Player of the Month cards are nothing new for long-time FIFA fans. Each month, the players will be able to elect the best players of each championship.

The lucky ones will receive their own POTM cards in Ultimate Team mode, which are upgraded cards.

While the infamous Team of the Week cards offer modest stat boosts, POTM cards tend to be vastly upgraded versions of base player cards.

As with previous years, we expect that POTM elected players can be picked up by completing a DCE.

How to vote for the Ligue 1 POTM in FIFA 22?

If you want to take part in the Ligue 1 POTM vote, then you will have to wait for the nominees to be announced. This usually happens towards the end of the month and the selected ones are published on the official UNFP Trophies website.

Once you know the nominees for this award and have made your choice, follow the instructions below:

  1. Visit the Ligue 1 POTM website
  2. Scroll through the candidates and make your choice
  3. Press the vote button
  4. Wait for your vote to be confirmed and that’s it!

The Ligue 1 POTM of the Month for September is RC Lens midfielder Seko Fofana who won 42% of the fan vote against OGC Nice striker Amine Gouiri and OL midfielder , Lucas Paqueta.

Previous Ligue 1 POTM winners

So far this season we have only had one other POTM in Ligue 1, and that is PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé. However, this reward was given before the release of FIFA 22, and as a result, the French striker was unable to receive his card on FUT.

As the season progresses, we will update the list below.

  • September – Seko Fofana
