New week and new predictions for the FIFA 22 TOTW 19 Team of the Week. As usual, EA will offer new IF cards based on the results of the best players from the past week. The novelty for FIFA 22 obviously lies in the presence of a Featured card, put forward by EA, which will give a double boost to a card 80 and below. We therefore present to you our predictions for the new cards which will be available in the packs from Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The gardians
Jeremias Ledesma, Cadiz, La Liga
Do you remember Ledesma? A few weeks ago, we correctly anticipated his presence in the TOTW and it seems that a second IF release is in order for the Argentine goalkeeper. Indeed, the latter once again achieved the perfect match, obtaining the title of player of the match for his performance.
Marco Bizot, Brest, Ligue 1
What a complicated season for LOSC this year, the defending champions have once again fallen, this time against Brest. It must be said that Brest were able to count on their goalkeeper Marco Bizot, who held firm throughout the match against Lille’s onslaught, allowing the club to pocket a very important victory for maintenance.
Defender Predictions
Josko Gvardiol, RB Leipzig
The successes continue to follow for Leipzig and once again, the German club should obtain a special card on FIFA 22. Our choice this time is Gvardiol who would obtain his second TOTW card of the season here, by making one more Meta option for the Bundesliga.
Virgil Van Dijk, Liverpool, Premier League
Although Liverpool conceded a goal against Crystal Palace, Virgil Van Dijk is our choice of defender for this TOTW 19. While it seems like EA has been avoiding Headliners since release, we consider the studio has waited long enough to start giving out boosts.
Midfielders
Marco Verratti, PSG, Ligue 1
While some are expecting a card for Ramos here, we consider it more believable to see Verratti. The Italian midfielder was excellent for PSG, notably with a double allowing the leader to soar in the Ligue 1 classification. However, this TOTW version will not be playable.
Joshua Kimmich, Bayern Munich, Bundesliga
We feel like a player this week with two Headliners cards on the program! After VVD, it’s Kimmich’s turn to be nominated following his great encounter against Herta Berlin. The German midfielder racked up two assists in Bayern’s 4-1 win, although the conceded goal could hurt his chances.
Which Attackers in TOTW 19?
Tammy Abraham, AS Roma, Serie A
We often talk about players being snubbed by EA on these TOTWs and Tammy Abraham is a good example. The AS Roma English striker is one of the top scorers in the Italian league this season but he has still not been selected for the Team of the Week. That should change following his brace again in a 4-2 Roma win.
Moussa Diaby, Leverkusen, Bundesliga
This is perhaps the theme of this TOTW 19: the second selection in the Team of the week. Once again, Moussa Diaby is a player who should get a SIF on FIFA 22 following his great performance for Leverkusen. Author of a hat-trick, the French striker will have an interesting card there as a super substitute, although his 2 stars from a weak foot remain a real problem.
FIFA 22 Feature Card of the Week
Matheus Cunha, Atletico Madrid, La Liga
One of the big new features of FUT mode on FIFA 22 is to implement a Featured card in the Team of the Week. For TOTW 19, our choice is Matheus Cunha, the Atlético Madrid player. Author of a goal and an assist, the Brazilian could obtain an interesting card, almost Meta, although exceeded in January.
How to get TOTW cards in FIFA 22?
TOTW cards are often interesting at high level but also for DCEs as well as to achieve specific objectives in friendly match mode. Therefore, even on players whose overall rating would be quite low, it is necessary to know how to get these TOTW cards on FIFA 22.
The first source is obviously the transfer market, where you can find a player’s TOTW cards in the special versions of their cards. Be careful, however, because the IF cards sell for much more than the basic version.

Investments related to TOTW predictions on FIFA 22
If the cards of the players selected in the Team of the week are often good sources of investment, it is also possible to earn credits via the TOTW. Indeed, there are several methods to speculate on the market.
So, the easiest and regular way is to bet on the normal Gold cards of the current TOTW players. These are not present in the packs during the week, limiting the quantity of cards. If a player is looking to use these cards for DCEs or for their team, the prices can spike a lot. So buy the cards in anticipation of this rise, speculating on TOTW’s predictions. This technique will mostly work in the early months of the game, until around the end of December.
