Like every year, more or less at the same time, the players of FIFA can vote for the TOTY, the Team of the Year. However, before these decisive votes, EA Sports reveals the players who have been selected and who therefore have a chance to be included. Each day, a category of players will be announced according to the following model:
- Forwards → January 7 (5 p.m.)
- Environments → January 8 (5 p.m.)
- Defenders and Guardians → January 9 (5 p.m.)
Once all eligible players have been disclosed, the votes will be open. We will therefore have several days to make our choice, which will be based on the actual performance of these players, who all marked the year 2021 in their own way, but also on his personal desires.
