Like every month, EA is preparing to announce the name of the Serie A Player of the Month (October POTM) for FIFA 23 FUT mode. To do so, FIFA offers fans the opportunity to vote for one of the many players pre-selected by the publisher. The fan vote counts as part of the final result. The winning player will get a special card (receiving a boost) available via DCE for one month.
The list of players selected for the Serie A POTM
For the month of October, EA has selected five players for this trophy. Here we find several players who could be playable or even Meta, which changes compared to the other POTM votes. Indeed, Barella, Leao and even SMS could be interesting if their card is higher in rating than that of their first TOTW of the season. Typically, a Barella at 88 overall rating would be one of the best box-to-box in FIFA 23.

The final result will be revealed next week (probably Thursday, November 10) and a Team Building Challenge (DCE) will be set up during the day in order to obtain a special POTM card for the winner. POTM and investment on FUT
Serie A DCEs are generally inexpensive and it is difficult to invest in these challenges. However, it is possible to buy some player cards from the Italian league (high-level Fodders, such as De Vrij, Handanovic or even SMS) in order to sell them on the day of the DCE release.
