FIFA 23 snubbed by the French Football Team which signs with its competitor!

FIFA 23 is fast approaching and fans of the EA license can’t wait: to find their football idols on the virtual lawn as soon as next September 30 (September 27 for Ultimate Edition pre-orders).

While the hype on the game is at its peak, and the mascot of the France team, Kylian Mbappé, will appear on the cover of the next opus of FIFA, the blues now seem to be turning to a partnership with a main competitor to EA’s video game production.

The French team chooses eFootball

It was yesterday that the official Twitter page of the French football team announced the big news, it has just signed a partnership with eFootball. So good news for the Konami license, but bad news for FIFA… While the competing license therefore had the opportunity to make new scans of the blueprints (in order to faithfully reproduce their image, their movements in game), EA’s production struggles to get new ones.

Recently, the character of Benzema was debated, because his last scan dates back to a few years ago, and his in-game physique is therefore not updated. In question, the fact that EA failed to obtain new data from the French player.

It is important to remember that it is in no way a choice of the players themselves, their schedule is often full, and the agents in charge of the France team must make choices in regarding partnerships. This year, therefore, it will be eFootball which will have access to the majority of content related to the blues. FIFA players, rest assured, this is not an exclusive partnership, and the France team will still be present in the game.

It does not matter, EA has Juventus!

As a consolation prize, EA announced at the end of July its exclusive partnership with one of the biggest clubs in the world: Juventus of Turin. The club’s stadium, the Allianz Stadium, the logo, as well as the official jerseys will be reproduced as faithfully as possible in the next opus of FIFA.

In addition to all these new elements, the former cult player of Juventus, Claudio Marchisiowill become an official FIFA 23 ambassador, but will also take his place in the “Heroes” of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

Like what, you can’t have everything, but having Juventus in an exclusive long-term partnership is already not bad. As for the France team, we will still find it in FIFA 23!

After a few years of absence, EA Sports announces an exceptional long-term partnership with the legendary Italian team: Juventus.
