Time is running out for Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. At least that’s what EA Sports thinks, because in FIFA 23 the two are far from their previous top rating. Robert Lewandowski was also devalued slightly. Three German players have almost made it to the top.
FIFA 23: Messi and Ronaldo significantly slower
Some FIFA players may have to reorient themselves when putting together their Ultimate Team. The classics Messi and Ronaldo don’t pull like they used to – in the truest sense of the word. Both players have a significant devaluation in terms of speed have to accept. Both the now 37-year-old Portuguese and the 35-year-old Argentinian only have a speed of 81 in FIFA 23.
Also Robert Lewandowski, who switched from FC Bayern to FC Barcelona, is past his best in terms of pace and shot, according to EA Sports. German players have almost made it to the top. the Manuel Neuer has the best rating with 90, closely followed by Joshua Kimmich with 89 and Toni Kroos with 88. Sadio Mané is another Bayern player who has made it into the rankings. The most represented teams are Paris Saint-Germain (4), FC Bayern (3) and Real Madrid (3).

FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022
On September 30, the 30th edition of the FIFA series appear. Gamers can choose between variants for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia. The game will be the last in the partnership between EA and FIFA. Future ones are to be marketed under the name EA Sports FC.
