If EA follows the pattern of the past few years, FIFA 23 should be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch and PC, but the last game called “FIFA” could be different than expected.
The release of FIFA 23 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC is considered certain, but the games magazine The Loadout has some doubts about releases on PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
Worry probably unjustified
As a result, EA may forego the latter platforms this time around, but we don’t think that’s a legitimate concern.
After all, EA has often released FIFA games for very old console generations in the past, for example FIFA 19 for PS3. Also, the Nintendo Switch is a console bestseller and we can’t imagine EA giving up sales on that platform.
According to a rumor, FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022.
