The videos, widely shared on social networks, seem to show a fight scene organized between a plainclothes police officer and a young person in a building hall in Blanc-Mesnil, in Seine-Saint-Denis. Thursday, the lawyer of the young implicated, Me Yassine Bouzrou, announces that a complaint has been filed. “For willful violence in a meeting under the threat of a weapon by persons holding public authority and for insults of a racist nature”, specifies France Info.
Counsel asserts that his client “was injured” and posted a new video of the scene in which we can see extreme tension between several plainclothes agents and a dozen young people. The police seem to be blocking the entrance to the building. In a first video released earlier in the week, we clearly see these same police exchanging blows with at least one young person in the hall, while another officer watches, LBD in hand, the entrance to the building.

Tuesday evening, the Paris police headquarters had already seized the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN), after the broadcast on social networks of a first video showing the fight between a police officer and a man.
The police headquarters announced this referral on Tuesday in a tweet, in which it added that the investigation should “establish the circumstances in which the facts shown by these images occurred”. For now, “no judicial investigation” is open, according to lawyer Yassine Bouzrou.
