FILM: Warner Bros. pushes back Aquaman 2, The Flash and Black Adam, but advances Shazam 2 release date

We are starting to see a lull in the health crisis, or at least in the latest wave. And yet, some producers continue to review their theatrical release schedule, for sometimes murky reasons. This is particularly the case of Warner Bros.which has just completely modified its copy for the coming months, with many postponements and an amazing advance, which will change the broadcast order of the next films of the DC Extended Universe.

Thereby, black adam is postponed from July 29 to October 21, 2022, The Flash is postponed from November 4, 2022 to June 23, 2023, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom sees its release date pushed back from December 16 to March 17, 2023. Shazam! Fury of the Gods will give it priority to some of them, because its broadcast has been brought forward from June 2, 2023 to December 12, 2022. What a mess.

Other than that, Willy Wonka with Timothée Chalamet is postponed from March 17, 2023 to the following December 15, Meg 2: The Trench is now dated August 4, 2023, and Krypto Super-Dog is postponed for 2 months, from May 20 to July 29, 2022. The animated film has just been entitled to a trailer or Batman is voiced by Keanu Reeves himself. As always, these are North American dates, and releases in Europe should generally be done 2 days before.

Waiting for the return of DC Extended Universe, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is available in Blu ray from €15.00 on Amazon.co.uk.
