A Minnesota couple’s cats were freaked out by a ghostly apparition. The scene was filmed by their surveillance camera.
Joey and Amy Radke, a couple from Minnesota, installed a CCTV system to keep an eye on their two cats from a distance. In general, the recorded images do not offer sensational scoops on the private life of the two tomcats, mainly occupied with playing a little and sleeping a lot. But this routine was interrupted a few days ago by an incident as mysterious as it is worrying.

In a scene that looks like a remake of “Paranormal Activity,” a door slams in the hallway and a blurry but human-looking form slips into the gloom before vanishing like a bursting soap bubble. At the same time, one of the cats panicked and ran behind a coffee table, his gaze fixed on the hallway where the apparition had appeared. After seeing these images, Amy Radke is so scared that she refuses to talk about it. Joey, on the other hand, looked into the history of this house they’ve been renting for a few years. He thus learned that the former owner, an elderly lady, had died in this room and had been taken away by the paramedics, in her nightgown.
By viewing the original images, of better quality than those visible on YouTube, Joey is convinced that the apparition is also wearing a similar outfit. The current owner confided in Joey that he felt very uncomfortable in this house when he resided there. He had, he said, the feeling of being constantly watched by “a hostile presence”. If Joey also feels a presence, on the contrary he feels no discomfort and says he is more curious than frightened: “I really want to see this ghost again; I would like to understand and get answers,” he explains. He is not sure that his cats are so enthusiastic…
