Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Square Enix lets you play this event before release – here’s how to take part

• A community event is taking place in Berlin for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth brings various innovations that differentiate the title from the original game. These include, among other things, new cities and quests as well as a special Chocobo feature for customizing your birds.

To celebrate the return of Cloud and his companions, Square Enix is ​​hosting a community event in Berlin. You will have the opportunity to play the upcoming title before it is released exclusively for the PS5 on February 29, 2024.

Win tickets

If you are interested in this community event, you can take part in a raffle until January 14th in which Square Enix will give away two tickets 10 times. All you have to do is enter your email address and your favorite Final Fantasy character in the corresponding section of the PlayStation Blog.

It is important to note that admission to the event is not permitted for visitors under 18 years of age. You must therefore be at least 18 years old and bring your ID with you to the event. There is currently no option to purchase these tickets.

The event starts on January 20th at 7 p.m. in the Xperion at Alexanderplatz 3 in 10178 Berlin. An exact indication of the duration of the event is still pending. In addition to the play test, the event also offers a screening of the 2005 film Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.

Since the crossover event with Apex Legends recently started, you can defeat your opponents with the legendary Buster Sword until the community event starts. Please note, however, that the new cosmetic items should cost over 300 euros.
