Final Fantasy: Uniqlo unveils a series of t-shirts for the 35th anniversary, FFXVI is also part of the party!

This year, License Final Fantasy celebrates 35 years, which is not given to all video game sagas, and several of its episodes also celebrate an important anniversary as Yoshinori Kitase reminded us when opening the official site linked to the celebrations. But it is not on this side that our attention is focused at the beginning of the week. Our gaze falls rather on Uniqlowho likes to bring out clothes in the colors of famous video games and who had, for example, offered a collection Super Mario for his 35th birthday in 2020.

Thereby, Final Fantasy will in turn have this privilegeas evidenced by the video presentation above. All the main episodes pass there, from the very first on NES to… Final Fantasy XVI! Yes, even the still very mysterious sixteenth numbered title expected on PS5, which should be talked about again during the spring, is present with an unpublished illustration! We find there Clive Rosfield, Ifritthe famous phrase about the crystals from the first trailer and even a symbol surmounted by a “W” which resembles the mark tattooed on the protagonist’s face.

For the time being, only Japan is concerned and you can find all the information about this collection directly from the site dedicated to him. There will even be cards offered to buyers, special packaging in limited quantities and a box set of 5,000 copies sold for ¥24,900 including all the t-shirts, otherwise sold for ¥1,500 each. You can find all the visuals on the next page. As you can see, the chosen visuals are quite classic for older games and much more interesting for newer ones. Everyone should find something there.

Let’s hope that this operation extends to Europe and, above all, that more information on FFXVI be given to us shortly. Waiting, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is sold from €52.80 on Amazon.
