Even if Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier put the key under the door, Square-Enix has another mobile game derived from the famous role-playing game to offer. His name is Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis and promises to make us trace all the known stories of FFVII and to add new things to it in an experience that will grow over the months and will offer phases of gameplay inspired by several games.
This interesting and intriguing project has gone through a closed beta in recent weeks and it has obviously kept all its promises. Square-Enix actually reports that 87% of players gave positive or very positive ratings, and that they really enjoyed the beginning of the story, the music and the graphics. A few recurring remarks have been made about the interface and limited character upgrades though, so the devs will optimize menus and adjust the type and number of items needed for upgrades by launch. And this launch, it will come quickly, because Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis release date set for September 7, 2023 on iOS and Android. Pre-registration is still open at L’App Store and the Google Play Storewith rewards for everyone if certain pre-registration caps are exceeded.
