The big announcement of the evening for fans of Final Fantasy VIIit is that of Final Fantasy VII Rebirththe second part of Final Fantasy VII Remake. If its first trailer leaves us some clues about the sequences that this sequel will cover, we did not know until now how many games the remake would be cut, knowing that the first episode only covered the part of Midgar, which represents only one small portion of the base game. We now have the answer thanks to Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase.
A trilogy project for the remake of Final Fantasy VII
The remake of Final Fantasy VII will therefore be divided into three games, of which Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirthand another game whose title has not yet been revealed.

The internal structure of the studio having been upset, we can understand that this third episode could arrive faster than expected at Square Enix, unless other unforeseen events such as the coronavirus come to turn everything upside down again.
We will now wait until the announcement of this third opus, but we have plenty of time ahead of us, because we are also waiting for new information on Final Fantasy VII Rebirthscheduled for winter 2023.
