Finally ! After several patches and metas very largely dominated by these champions, Riot has finally decided to introduce a nerf of 10 items usually chosen by the Bruisers. Blade of the Fallen King, Sterak, or Black Cleaver — 10 items all take it for their grade.

Riot Games has been making very relevant adjustments to League of Legends for some time. Indeed, just a few hours ago, the developers “killed” the Techno-Chemical Dragon, one of the novelties of the pre-season that has not finished traumatizing players of all ranks.

Well, after this big bomb comes another that can’t be called small either. Riot will change a total of 10 items used by fighters (the bruisers as they are called in English). Some of them aren’t big changes, but they’ll all definitely help change the meta a bit…

All changes to objects

Sterak’s Pledge

• No longer provides AD.
• The “Bloodlust” passive has been removed.
• [Nouveau passif] Gain 40% base damage as a bonus to attack damage.
• Shield now provides 75% bonus HP, down from 100 + 8% max. HP (4.8% for distances)

black cleaver

• AD increased from 40 to 45.

• Skill speed increased from 25 to 30

• HP reduced from 450 to 350

Ravenous Hydra

• Attack damage increased from 65 to 70.

Eviscerator

• AD increased from 40 to 45.

• Skill speed increased from 25 to 30

• HP reduced from 450 to 300

Trinity Force

• HP increased from 200 to 300

Divine Slayer

• AD increased from 35 to 40

• Health reduced from 400 to 300

• “Enchanted Blade” damage increased from 12% (9% for ranged champions) to maximum health of the target as physical damage at 12% (9% for ranged champions) of current health of the target as physical damage.

Maw of Malmortius

• Price increases from 2800 to 2900

• Attack damage increased from 50 to 55

• Skill speed increased from 15 to 20

• The “Lifeline” passive changes her magic shield from 200 + 20% Max Health at 200 + 225 max AD for melee and 150 + 168.75 bonus AD for ranged champions.

• When “Life Saver” activates, you win 12% omnivampirism until the end of the fight.

hex drinker

• AD increased from 20 to 25

Dance of Death

• Passive “Ignore the Pain” reducing the amount of damage spread over time changed from 35% for melee and 15% for ranged to 30% and 10%.

• Healing from the “Challenge” passive is reduced from 15% of maximum health to 175% bonus AD.

Deposed king blade

• Total price increased from 3200 to 3300

All of these changes are planned for League of Legends patch 12.3—the next one to come. We can say without fear of being wrong that Riot wants fighters to be more “fighters”, and less “characters who endure a lot and also hit”…

Sometimes all it takes is a small miscommunication to see how easily people can be influenced. And, years ago, all it took was a little blunder on their part for Riot Games to realize that League of Legends players are no exception to this rule…
