Finally, GPT-4 is accessible for free for everyone, but on Bing


Maybe you were already using GPT-4 without knowing it. Microsoft, which is holding a conference on AI this Thursday, March 16, has finally confirmed that it is indeed this language model that has been used on Bing from the start. Thus, when we tested the Bing chatbot, it was already the model unveiled by OpenAI a few days ago, even if the two firms do not offer the same functionalities and personalities. And if OpenAI currently reserves the exclusivity of ChatGPT version GPT-4 to members of its ChatGPT+ program, Microsoft seems to have opened access to everyone on Bing.

In any case, the procedures are simplified. Until now, you had to join a waiting list to try the new Bing, but several Windows Central journalists have noticed that it is possible to access it without having to wait.

Just go to the Microsoft search engine (www.bing.com), click on the “Conversation” tab, then press “Join the waiting list”. You will then be asked to add an email address in order to subscribe to this list, but unlike usual, access is granted almost instantly.
