If you want to spend Halloween with a good horror film, you first have to find out where the desired strip can be streamed.

Bloody horror or exciting horror? Streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney + have a wide selection of films and series in their program. There is only one big problem: Which production is available where? In this way, users can find out where they can watch a title they are looking for.

Which is the right platform?

Of course, viewers can search for films such as the South Korean zombie strip “Train to Busan” directly from the respective provider. However, if you have browsed through several services, it may take a while to find out that the film is currently only available in Germany on Amazon Prime Video in the stream at no additional cost. And if you don’t know that the “Fear Street” trilogy can be seen on Netflix, you may first search for Disney + or Sky Ticket.

The whole thing is easier via a small detour: There are search engines like “werstreamt.es” or “JustWatch”. Using a browser or a corresponding app for iOS and Android, users can find out where a series or film can be called up at a flat rate and where the respective titles can be rented or bought.

Horror fans can buy or rent the still quite new “A Quiet Place 2”, for example, from Amazon, Sky, iTunes and Google Play, and the film with Emily Blunt (38), which opened in cinemas in the summer, is available in the subscription stream is, but not yet. Even the widely celebrated “Hereditary – Das Vermächtnis” by Ari Aster (35), for example, is currently nowhere available for subscription, but it can be bought or borrowed.
