Findings in clarification – new suspected omicron mutation in Lower Austria

Chamber of Commerce calls for opening on December 13th
One does not like to hear the news about the omicron mutation and rising death rates in business circles. The fear that the measures could be extended again is growing. “When the lockdown was announced, we were assured that our operations would open again on December 13th,” recalled the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce President Wolfgang Ecker. Only if this promise is kept, parts of the Christmas sales can still be saved, it is said from the chamber. A lockdown week would cost domestic companies around 190 million euros.
