On Monday around 11 p.m. there was a fire in an extension of a single-family house in Nikolsdorf. When firefighters arrived, the residents had already evacuated the fire.
The previous investigations showed that the fire broke out in a directly attached wooden hut next to a small garage. The Nikolsdorf, Dölsach and Lavant volunteer fire brigades were able to extinguish the fire by around 2:30 a.m. No one was injured by the fire and neighboring buildings were not endangered. The damage caused cannot be quantified at this time. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, which is why the investigations are being continued. In action were: FFW Nikolsdorf, Dölsach and Lavant; 1 “First Responder” and an ambulance crew as well as two police patrols.
