Fire brigade operation – young people set fire, Grazer Annenstrasse closed

What probably began as a “rascal prank” had serious consequences on Friday around 5 pm: Three young people are said to have set a garbage can on fire in Grazer Annenstrasse, the fire spread in the garbage room. The fire brigade had to move out with seven vehicles, and Annenstrasse was closed

The fire broke out after 5 p.m. in the garbage collection point, which is located at the back of a commercial enterprise in Annenstrasse.

When the patrol arrived, the garbage room was already in full fire. The Graz professional fire brigade arrived with seven vehicles and 29 men, and Annenstrasse had to be closed. In the course of the manhunt that was initiated, three young people (11 and 12 old) were stopped in Idlhofgasse. They subsequently showed themselves to be partially confessed in the presence of their legal guardians, further surveys are necessary.

The amount of damage is still unclear.
