The Fire TV Stick Lite is the cheapest streaming stick in Amazon’s in-house range. Now it is delivered with a newer remote control – which brings the following function.

- The Amazon Fire TV Stick is the “slimmed down” version of Amazon’s streaming hardware.
- So far, the inexpensive device has primarily attracted attention due to its simplified remote control.
- Now the Lite Stick comes with a remote control that also has speed dial buttons.
With the Lite version of the Fire TV Stick, there is smart streaming hardware at a low price – where Amazon has left out a few small functions. For example, the quick selection buttons for Prime Video, Netflix and Disney+ on the included remote control.

Amazon is now granting budget-oriented customers a useful upgrade with an improved remote control: According to the Amazon website, the Fire TV Stick Lite will be delivered with quick selection buttons in the future. This does not change the price. This is still 29.99 euros.
Fire TV Stick Lite continues without volume control
With the cheapest version of the Fire TV Stick, however, you still have to do without the practical volume control buttons, which you can use to make the streaming content on your TV louder and quieter. Also, you cannot turn the TV on or off with the Lite remote control.
