On the first anniversary of Udo Walz’s death, numerous celebrities remembered the star hairdresser on social media.
Star hairdresser Udo Walz died on November 20, 2020 at the age of 76. On the first anniversary of his death, numerous celebrities paid tribute to the Berlin icon on social media. “Oh Udo, you’ve been somewhere else for a year. And you miss so much. Every day! I think of you,” wrote actress Simone Thomalla (56) on Instagram to a picture with waltz. Moderator Kim Fisher (52) commented on the photo with a heart emoji.
Udo Walz “is missing in the whole city”
Make-up artist René Koch (76) published a series of joint pictures with Walz, on which celebrity customers such as Claudia Schiffer (51) can be seen. “How quickly time flies, another year ago. Thanks for the memory,” commented moderator Marijke Amado (67) the post. “The whole city misses him,” wrote TV star Julian FM Stoeckel (34). Moderator Ralph Morgenstern (65) left a little heart emoji under the series of photos.
Opera singer Deborah Sasson (62) wrote in an Instagram post, which shows a common picture: “Udo, we miss you.”
Two weeks before his death, Udo Walz suffered a sugar shock and was in a coma.
In addition to numerous German celebrities such as Angela Merkel (67), Heidi Klum (48) and Marlene Dietrich (1901-1992), the star hairdresser also counted international artists among his customers. Julia Roberts (54) or Naomi Campbell (51) had his hair cut, among others.
