First e-bike from Acer: The smart Ebii relies on AI, radar and accident detection

With a maximum support of 25 km/h and a 250-watt motor with around 40 Newton meters, you can legally drive the Ebii on German roads. Acer relies on operation that requires as little maintenance as possible. Instead of a chain drive, there is a belt that requires little attention or care.

There is also no gear shift. Instead, an artificial intelligence (AI) should automatically select the appropriate support for the situation. Even more: Over time, the system should adapt to your personal preferences and get better and better. There is also an app called ebiiGo, which accesses the e-bike via Bluetooth and takes care of GPS tracking and anti-theft protection, among other things.

One striking design element is the front fork, which has been designed to be weight-optimized. On the other hand, a powerful battery with a capacity of 460 watt hours determines the picture. The energy storage, which should be good for a typical range of 110 kilometers, can be removed and used as an external power bank. It is charged within 2.5 hours at the socket.
