A new pair of lovers introduce themselves

A first trailer has been released for the return of the popular Netflix series “Bridgerton”, which sets the mood for a lot of romance and great feelings.
Fans of the romantic historical series “Bridgerton” have already had a few videos in the past few weeks and months to prepare them for the third season, which is about to start. Now the streaming service Netflix has one that is around two and a half minutes long Trailer for the upcoming episodes released. The clip shows the big new lovers from season three, consisting of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan, 37) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton, 31).
“Bridgerton” trailer sets the mood for a romantic season
“Dear readers, we have been apart from each other for far too long,” the mysterious Lady Whistledown begins the preview video for the new “Bridgerton” season. After all, season two was released in March 2022, over two years ago. But now “high society” has finally returned to London.
The character Penelope Featherington, played by Irish actress Nicola Coughlan, then explains that she intends to find a husband in the new ball season. “Bridgerton” fans know that she has had a long-standing crush on her childhood friend Colin Bridgerton.
But Penelope initially isn’t particularly adept at finding a husband, which is why she tells Colin: “I think I’m a hopeless case.” He thinks she shouldn’t say something like that. Later in the trailer, mother Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell, 56) advises her third-born son: “You just have to follow your heart.”
Netflix subscribers will be able to find out whether Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington will get together during the upcoming third season from May 16th. The first four episodes of the eight-part third season will appear on the streaming service on this date. The second part of season three, which consists of four episodes, follows on June 13th.
